ABELMed Portal - Portal for Patients and Practitioners
ABEL Medical Software Inc's patient portal, ABELMed Portal, is a secure Website* where your patients can log in to view or update portions of their record or interact with your office. You retain complete control of the information that a patient can view and modify. ABELMed Portal will save your practice time and money by allowing patients to:
- Request, confirm or reschedule appointments
- Enter or update demographic information and medical history
- View parts of their Personal Health Record (PHR)
- Communicate with your practice securely and in confidence through our proprietary messaging system
As an added service, we can scan any historic patient records that you would like to store off-site and make them available to you on-line through ABELMed Portal.
* The ABELMed Portal Services consist of a web-based software application hosted on ABEL’s servers that provide healthcare providers and their patients with functionality available over the Worldwide Web integrated with ABELMed. Although we provide websites to medical practices, you do not need your own website to take advantage of ABELMed Portal.
Remote Backup Service
All practices, family and specialty alike, can benefit from using our Remote Backup Service. For a low monthly fee, you can have your valuable data automatically backed up on a regular schedule.
- We save you the time and effort of running daily backups
- We protect your practice from the risk of failed, lost or stolen backups
- We protect your data, storing it safely and securely off-site where it can be quickly retrieved at any time
- We save you the cost of backup media and/or other external backup or verification services
- Alternatively, we can provide you with a Data Backup Verification Service to ensure that the valuable data on your own backups is fully accessible and restorable from the media on which it is stored
Remote Monitoring and Administration
We provide 24/7/365 monitoring of your computer system to proactively detect problems before they result in serious consequences to your practice.
