7 Maintain active medication allergy list More than 80% of all unique patients seen by the EP have at least one entry (or an indication that the patient has no known medication allergies) recorded as structured data ABELMed captures each patient’s current Allergy list as structured data and conveniently displays it in various areas of the program to assist the health care professional in providing safe and optimal care to the patient. Medication allergy entered in one area is automatically updated throughout the program, thus avoiding duplicate data entry and minimizing adverse reactions.

8 Record and chart changes in vital signs: height, weight, blood pressure, calculate and display BMI, plot and display growth charts for children 2-20 years including BMI For more than 50% of all unique patients age 2 or over seen by the EP, height, weight and blood pressure are recorded as structured data ABELMed provides the ability to record all Meaningful Use vital signs as structured data.
